Privacy Policy
We built CV Scorer with privacy-first principles. Here's exactly what data we collect, how we use it, and how long we keep it.
Data We Collect
When you sign in via Google OAuth, we collect your email address and public profile information provided by Google. No password is stored on our servers. When you use the CV analysis service, we process the resume file you upload along with any job description text you provide.
Resume Storage
Resume text is never stored. When you submit a resume for analysis, the raw text is processed in memory and discarded immediately after the analysis completes. Only scores, recommendations, and metadata are retained in your history. We do not persist resume content or job description text on our servers at any point.
PII Handling
Personal information extracted from resumes (names, phone numbers, addresses) is processed only during the analysis and is not indexed or used for any purpose beyond generating your score and recommendations. We do not sell or share personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
Retention Policy
Analysis history is retained based on your plan. After the retention period, analysis records and any associated resume content are permanently deleted.

Payment Information
Payment processing is handled by Polar.sh. We do not store credit card numbers or other payment credentials on our servers. Polar.sh's privacy policy governs the handling of your payment data.
Cookies
We use httpOnly session cookies to maintain your authentication state. These cookies are essential for the service to function and cannot be used for tracking across other websites.
